You won't find many building products missing at BlueLinx. Through 49 distribution centers across the US, the company distributes some 10,000 building products from more than 750 suppliers to some 11,500 customers. Specialty products, such as roofing, insulation, molding, and engineered wood products account for more than half of BlueLinx's sales. It also distributes structural products, including plywood, oriented strand board, and lumber. BlueLinx serves building material dealers, home improvement retailers, manufactured housing builders, and industrial users of building products. The company is majority-owned by private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management.
